No IAS, overkill, Mending sucks, don't use Healing Prayers nor Smiting Prayers, overall, it sucks.

You have Bane Signet, Mending, and Live Vicariously.

Take them off, now.

Get something that increases your attack speed (IAS), like Tiger Stance/Flail

Get yourself a good elite (NOT healing hands) like...crippling slash

Try this instead....I might be a bit rusty...but this should be ok.

Crippling Slash, Gash, Sun and Moon Slash, Healing Signet, Resurrection Signet, Flail, Rush (maybe), Final thrust?

No healing prayers, and no bane signet.

Smiting Prayers is fine on a warrior. [actually, of all the monk stats, it's the best to complement a warrior]

You can utilize things like Strength of Honor or for a heaping helping of extra damage, Judge's Insight. But make sure that they're your ONLY energy skills on your skill bar.

Flail is a good IAS, if you don't have access to that, you'll need to use one that you do have access to [avoid frenzy if u don't have a cancel stance and avoid Flurry like the plague]

I'd recommend 16 swordsmanship, 9 str/tactics [depends on skills/shield], 10 Smiting Prayers.

I wouldn't put more than 1 single smiting prayer skill on the skill bar.

An increase attack speed skill, flail is the best option. A 33% IAS increases your base damage and adrenaline production by 50%, which is a good thing.

Drop all healing prayers. You don't need them, monks exists for a reason. If you feel you need self defense, watch yourself or heal sig is enough.

Drop the smiting stuff. Your sword is for killing things, use it.

You don't have a rez. Is one skill on your bar more valuable than 8 skills on someone else's?

No elite skill, which may just be a product of where you are in the game. I'd suggest dragon slash if you're using a sword.

Your weapon mastery should always be max. Always.

That's the big stuff. As for more nitpicky stuff:

Sever/gash/final is a nice spike, but it's not that great in PvE. The bleeding won't matter, as things will die too fast for it to be a good amount of damage. Deep wound is good, but it's almost not worth the effort on a sword bar in PvE, as things should be dying faster than you can apply it. The same logic goes for final thrust, what's the point in spiking out single targets when every monster dies in 5 seconds anyway?

thank you snow bunny thats more helpful it's better than X Earth X which shouldn't be allowed to sumit answers unless they are helpful (which I thought was the reasone for this thread). Why crippling slash?? It's pve I don't think it matters if anything tries to run since I useally go alone with maybe 3 monks and 2 P/W a AOE and a Ranger (hero/hench).

Well, if you're going to think about it in terms of PvE then...

I just don't like Dragon Slash. It's fine for DPS, I just like my utility, despite that PvE doesn't need utility.

You need an elite though.

Fair enough on Dslash. However, that cripslash bar needs a conjure. Given that he has a glacial blade, conjure frost would fit really nicely.

This is a PVE thread why wouldn't I think of it in PVE?? I don't use elites caues I don't think it's worth it. they came out late in the game. There are plenty of skills out there that one can use. I only play Prof in normal mode I like to RPG lol alone since most of the time I run into people like X Earth X that usually die which most of the time I bring some sort of res because the Wammo is always to blam. Please don't think I'm fighting to keep my build I'm just asking questions to get a better idea. Dr. Stranglove I usally attack more then 1 target at a time so the point is for my barbarous+gash on one enamy turn Bane Signet, Steel fang Slash and Final Thrust then hit the other with Galrath Slash and repeat tell all are dead usually working on 2 or more at a time. but I will look up all that you recamend and try to fit it into different ways to mix things up.

Ok, well...

If you're playing prophecies....

You'll basically have to beat the game to get this...but...

Get eviscerate.

Stop being a sword warrior, Axes are hawt, especially with eviscerate.

Hmmm... well if you don't want to major of a change, drop healing to 8, swap mending for a res, swap vicarious for vigorus spirit and dslash in place of galrath.

Swords may look pretty, but if you only have prophecies, they're worthless for damage. Sorry.

kool will do. I have all of the games but the only one I think is worth anything is prof. Factions is to much pvp which I only like PVE. and night fall is all based on the hero's which I don't really care for. So I only play prof. I use hench for agro and don't really care if they die which is why I take 3 or more monks and my own health mangment. Most of the time I run around alone and just kill stuff (tipacal wammo) since that is the only way to make money. Don't have time to sell to people so I have to farm more than normal. Don't worry if I get off topic all of you have given me great advice and I will be looking into makeing changes. No axe for reason statted above and don't really like spending gold on weps (arenet need to give me an axe lol 2 hammers a sword and a shild but no axe WTF) well thank you and everyone have a fun gamming EXP and remmeber it's just a game! get up and go out side it's still going to be there when you get back.

Noticed that you had 200 +30 att points. I think you mean 170 +30, which gives the standard 200 att points.

But yes, if you're just playing Prophecies, sticking to Axe is probably a good idea...ah well.

If you have Factions, get Dragon Slash. If not...Ah well. Crippling Slash gogo?

If you have no specific need to cripple things, Crippling Slash is just a higher-cost, elite-slot-wasting version of Sever Artery. In PvP where crippling things is a real priority, sure, it rocks. If you really must snare in PvE, use Grasping Earth or something and stick to an elite that actually does some good damage.

Depends if he has Factions, then. I wouldn't put on Hundred Blades just for the sake of having a damage elite.

Or he could use the old "Charge!" sword warrior template and add in a utility elite of his choice. Better not, though.
